io magic 320 is GigaBank a SATA or IDE hard disk and what is the difference?

I need an external hard disk cabinet to the home of a 320 GigaBank io gig external hard drive that has burned a power supply, but do not know if I should buy a box and the box SATA or IDE. Please help

You can always contact IO Magic and receives a new energy source. I have the same unit and is IDE, not SATA. I would recommend a new site but anyway, as I had to replace the external power source, once and I think the 2nd power supply is that it is the last stage. Mine comes with a hard drive Hitachi 320GB IDE. Of course it's now out of warranty. It replaced the Original Power supply at no cost. If you replace the enclosure, we can write and tell me how you got the original box open? Thank you!
