Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to set up a web camera in a separate room than your computer without using one of those 150 foot usb extension cords that cost like a hundred dollars. I am starting a daycare center and I want parents to be able to view what is going on.

This display is a part of this adapter and the wire that is present helps in manipulating and moving the location for the display.

I need to add a 15 foot usb extension to my wifi adapter, do I need to use a active cable?
Keep in mind that after 15 feet, the usb signal loss becomes too much for the device to compensate for.
If you are connecting a 15ft extension to another cable, it will most likely not work properly.
